Soft Pastel Chalk Cards are so much fun to work with! This is a wonderful tool to add to your crafting to make Quick and Easy Cards. So grab your chalks, Versamark, Daubers and Q Tips and lets start making a card.
Brilliance Butterfly with Versamark
This is a easy and card to make using our Stamparatus and some Versamark. Stamp the image with Versamark onto a 4 x 5 1/2 Basic White card stock. Apply the chalk with your daubers but before this I scraped off some of each chalk with my Take Your Pick tool and put this on my silicon mat that I used as pallet. I used a dauber to apply each color on the butterfly. It’s ok to overlap the color, this works well. I also love the halo affect this gives each butterfly when using this application.
Soft Pastel Chalk with Versamark
The Butterfly Brilliance Stamp set is so striking with the Memento Ink and the Soft Pastel Chalk. This technique is with what you have in your house, Q-tips. You can rub the Q-tip on the chalk and apply to the Butterfly and again you can overlap the colors should you chose to do so. Such a beautiful card.
Soft Pastel Note card with Blender Pen
Once I got started I did not want to stop. So this time I am using the Blender Pen as my tool to apply to Soft Pastel chalks to my card. I love our note cards so I decided to use the Shaded Summer Stamp Set for my flower and applied the colors with my Blender Pen. Since this pen is a little wet, I picked up my color with the pen and applied to the flower. Be sure not to rub to hard due to this is wet and it will tear the paper. Just reapply if you do not have enough color once it dries, which will only take a minute or two. The card base color is Gorgeous Grape.
